North Tyneside Council Measles Advice

Money Money Money!

Matthew Mordue in Year 8 handed over a cheque for £40 to Macmillan Cancer Trust following an outstanding fundraising event where students were able to purchase heart shaped keyrings for Valentines Day. Mathew worked hard with his frien Tom Stringfellow to produce the keyrings from recycled material. Mathew and Tom are keen to support Churchills Fundraising charities and will be selling personalised keyrings for mothers day later this month.

So far this year Churchill Community College has raised £2226.31. We hope to break the £3000 mark by the end of this Friday with events taking place throughout the day to support Sport Relief. Students can contribute by wearing their sports kit for. £1 and by participating in a Churchill Challenge to cycle, run and row over 1000 KM from the top of the Uk to the bottom for sponsorship. So many students have signed up that three events will be running continuously throughout Friday in 5 minute intervals.

This is a fantastic effort by students and staff to support this incredicle charity.
